Ray Cusick, the designer of the ultimate Doctor Who enemies, the Daleks, has died:

Ray Cusick was 84, I didn’t know his name until I read his obituary, but he will be a legend in Sci-Fi forever. The Daleks are one of the best Sci-Fi enemies ever, and their completely inhuman design is part of their success.

I’ve met so many good singer-songwriters in Seattle and surrounding areas, I figured I should introduce you to some of them. This town has a deep and rich music history, it faces you every where you go, and the music community is more cohesive than any where else I’ve seen (I’ve heard Portland is great too!).

We are playing a really nice intimate set in Ballard this Saturday at the Copper Gate. The Copper Gate is a super comfy and nice place to hang out in and listen to music, and the sound quality is super. I may even play a couple of my very new songs if you’re (mostly) well-behaved.
The show starts at 8PM.
It’s gonna be lovely, guaranteed.
