We are having a big birthday party and rock-and-roll show at the Rendezvous Jewelbox Theater in Belltown, Seattle on Friday April 5th!
It’s my birthday week, and Benjamin’s, and Hobbs’, so we’re going to make some noise and have a fun night of music to celebrate. Why on Earth would we want to work at our birthday party? Because nothing would be more fun than playing a bunch of tunes for you!

Derek is a truly tremendous TV show. I just finished the first season and it was possibly the finest television show I’ve ever seen. It’s funny, and poignant, and sad, and profound, and dark, and vulgar, and tender, and just so good I had to immediately come online and tell you about it. You will be a better person after watching it.
It’s about this guy who…actually, it doesn’t matter what it’s about. A description of the characters and plot wouldn’t really tell you why you should watch it, because these seemingly minor human beings are effortlessly profound and entertaining. And I’m sure you can find all of the regular promo information on their site. I’m here to tell you to watch it, and to give you my guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

I hope you all remembered to set your watches ahead. I don’t have a watch, or any other sort of clock that isn’t synced to some nuclear clock somewhere that keeps perfect time and then gets magically adjusted for me somewhere along the way.
Now, let’s just get them to stop trying to screw with time, it’s just dumb, and it’s much nicer with the Sun setting later.
