Hobbs!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce to you our guitarist, Eric “Hobbs” Haber (left):

Okay, so you may have already met him as our guitarist, but you should also know that Hobbs writes, performs, and records his own songs. His tunes are delicious, go try some:

Hobbs will be playing with us at the Pink Pig Bar in Olympia this Saturday (Mar 30), and then also on Friday April 5th at our birthday party rock-and-roll show at the Jewelbox Theater in downtown Seattle.

Come and say hello!

Birthday Show: April 5 at The Jewelbox Theater in Seattle

Dear friends,

We are having a big birthday party and rock-and-roll show at the Rendezvous Jewelbox Theater in Belltown, Seattle on Friday April 5th!

It’s my birthday week, and Benjamin’s, and Hobbs’, so we’re going to make some noise and have a fun night of music to celebrate. Why on Earth would we want to work at our birthday party? Because nothing would be more fun than playing a bunch of tunes for you!

April 5th
Friday
Rendezvous Jewelbox Theater
8:30PM

See you there!

Seattle photographer Cody Benally took some photos of our show at the Hard Rock Cafe from Feb 23, super fun times!:

The band and I had a great night playing tunes for some very lovely folks, see you next time!

My Band

We had a really good rehearsal yesterday, my band is pretty fekkin awesome, even though this picture doesn’t do them justice I figure you should have a sneak peak before our next shows:

L-R: Phil Hirschi (cello), BJ Skoff (bass), Hobbs (guitar), Benjamin Rud (drums).

Come see us soon, we found a new stash of rock-and-roll.

All the best,

SJ

I Just Have To Say

I just have to say, tonight’s show at the Can Can was pure fun. First, Jabi Shriki and his band were super cool and sounded delicious, and they had Eric Stone on bass tonight and it is ALWAYS a treat to hear him play, we didn’t want them to stop.

But they did, and then it was our turn, and we just got right up there and had ourselves a bit of a hoedown, maybe even a hootenanny. Benjamin Rud, Hobbs, BJ, and Phil Hirschi mixed together a little bit of music magic for us tonight; I’ll be soaking it in for a little while. I am very much looking forward to next time…which brings us to:

We’ll see you at Blue Moon on Friday Jan 25, and then we’ll be having a nice little party in Olympia at the Pink Pig on Saturday the 26th, and that show will also be with Jabi. Good frikkin times indeed.

Be good until then.

Welcome Back Hobbs!

We had a nice and tidy rehearsal yesterday, and it was good to have Eric “Hobbs” Habermeier (pictured left) back on guitar:

20130114-114013.jpg He was away on holiday in the Dominican Republic, but now he’s returned and glowing with vitamin D.
You can’t make Voltron without the green lion, it’s nice to hear Hobbs’ guitar in the mix again.

We’ll see you on Wednesday at the Can Can under Pike Place Market!
