This Weekend! (June 13,14,15)

Tonight, I’m performing a solo set at Prohibition Gastropub in Everett WA, 7-9PM. Plentiful goodness.

Tomorrow, Phil Hirschi (cello) and I are at One Eyed Jacks in Lynnwood WA with Wyatt Olney for his (super rad) CD release party. Tremendous.

Sunday, I’m at the End Zone in Port Orchard WA for a special Father’s Day show. Stupendous.

We had a fun backyard rehearsal in the sunshine yesterday, it was a lovely afternoon with a bunch of cool folks. We’re performing at a show tonight at Hattie’s Hat in Ballard with the house band backing us up so we got together and ran through the tunes once.

Beautiful May Day

Tonight’s moonset/sunset was majestic. Gorgeous breeze. And I feel good. A really good type of good.

I also had a fun show at 88 Keys in Pioneer Square, Science! also played and we’re performing together again at 4th Ave Tav in Olympia on Saturday May 10, come check us out!

Oh! I also marched with workers and other progressive activists through downtown Seattle today for some basic rights that most workers in industrialised nations have:

Seattle also announced today that the minimum wage here is going up to $15. It’s a good start. I believe that people who work full time should be able to afford to live without taking food stamps and other poverty subsidies.

We can keep making things better with a little footwork and a lot of singing.

All the best,

SJ

Memorial Day Rain City Rock Concert

Dear friends in the Seattle area, we’re performing at the Rain City Rock Concert at the Nectar Lounge on Memorial Day, May 26th!

It will be a great night of live music, and the proceeds go to benefit a local college honor society scholarship. The Nectar Lounge has a cool outdoor patio with a full view of the stage, perfect for live music on Memorial Day!

See you there!

Best,
