Today is International Women’s Day, and we can see that a lot of folks around the world are still living in the Dark Ages, where women are told that getting raped is part of God’s plan, that Allah thinks women shouldn’t show their face in public, where women earn 65% what a man earns for the same job, and other mountains of daily ever-present injustices.
Our species needs all of its members to be empowered to the best of their ability if we are going to survive and thrive. Rise up ladies, humanity is depending on you, and men, stop being stupid and insecure.
